Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
A friend of mine recently asked me to give advise on what headphones, currently on the market are worth looking at. I didn’t really know what to tell him at the time. I rhymed of brands that I trust, but didn’t know of a specific model to recommend.
He was looking for something for regular listening, but suitable for travel, so not too bulky. I came across these upon recommendation from another friend. I had a listen and was very impressed by the sound you hear from this small package.
With solid features like hands-free phone compatibility, noise-cancellation, and a huge frequency range (11hz - 30hz). Not to mention that they fold up and come with a nice little carrying case; great for travel.
AKG K480 - Model referred to in this post.
AKG K450 - The same great sound, without active noise-cancellation.
AKG K420 - If you’re still able to find a pair of these guys, they’re about the same as the new K480, but without all the great features (but much less cost).

I’ve been through the north of China, and now in the south. Last week I even got to see a glimpse of Burma! For a long time I’ve been waiting to see Hong Kong and now I’ve got the chance. I have to leave Mainland China every 60 days to avoid problems with my visa, so I thought this time I would take the opportunity to see what Hong Kong is about. My flight leaves in 3 hours. My bags are packed and I’m heading over to Wang’fu’jing for a haircut!

The days just seem to be flying by. My last post was three days ago already. Last week, a friend suggested that I start video blogging. I’m an all in guy. That means if I do start that, it’s going to take up a lot of time. I might do it on occasion; I do like the idea. I just don’t think I could make it a regular thing. I’ll just keep some variation; some text, some graphics and a few videos here and there -that seems to be the best plan.
